Gionee has listed a new smartphone on its website in the CTRL series, CTRL V5. Gionee CTRL V5 is the successor to CTRL V4. Unannounced Gionne CTRL V5 is listed on Gionee India website. The price and date of availability of device is not listed on website. It is a dual sim phone with qHD display.
Gionee CTRL V5 features a 4.7 inch qHD Display with 960×540 pixel resolution. It runs on 1.3 GHz Quad core MT6582V/X Processor with 1 GB RAM. It has 8 GB internal memory which can be expanded upto 32 GB using MicroSD Card. Gionee CTRL V5 comes with 8 Autofocus rear camera with Flash and 2MP front camera.
Gionee CTRL V5 has connectivity options like 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. It has 1,800 mAh battery which gives 10 hours talktime on 3G and 324 hours of standby time. It is a dual sim (GSM+GSM) device.
Gionee CTRL V5 runs on older Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, which cannot be upgraded to Android kitkat. Its dimensions are 134.5*67.7*8.07mm and weighs 103.5 gms.
