Samsung always launches multiple variants of its flagship device. Now Galaxy S5 is launched, we can expect multiple variants of flagship to be launched. Samsung has confirmed one of its variant and it looks stunning.
Samsung has now confirmed that first variant of Galaxy S5 will be Samsung Galaxy S5 Crystal edition. Apart from crystal edition, other variants like Galaxy S5 Zoom/K Zoom, Galaxy S5 mini, Galaxy S5 Active are also in the works.
Samsung had earlier also launched crystal edition of Galaxy S4 and Now Galaxy S5 crystal is also in the works. Samsung has teased the device in the video. The video doesn’t reveal much about the device but it will have rear panel with crystals from Swarovski. The video also confirms the may launch of the device. The Galaxy S5 Crystal edition could feature same specification as original Galaxy S5.
Specification wise Galaxy S5 features a 5.1 FullHD 1080p display, it runs on 2.5 GHz quad core processor with 2GB RAM. It features 16 Megapixel camera with Super Auto Focus, HDR and 4K video capabilities. The device is equipped with Advanced LTE and Wi-fi MIMO (802.11ac). It comes in two memory options 16GB and 32GB, there is MicroSD slot by which memory can be increased upto 64 GB.
The device packs 2,800 mAh battery which is capable of 290 hours of standby time. Samsung has added ultra power saving mode which boosts the battery and gives more usage time. It runs on Android Kitkat 4.4.2.
