Gionee has launched two new smartphones in India, One of which is Gionee Elife S5.1 which is successor to Gionee Elife S5.5 and other is Gionee Marathon M3 successor to Marathon M2. Gionee has not launched the products officially but the devices are listed on Gionee India website without price tag.
Gionee Elife S5.1 is slimmest smartphone from Gionee, it is just 5.1mm thick. Last month, It was launched in China and at that time it was world’s slimmest smartphone but not anymore as Oppo has launched Oppo R5 which is just 4.85mm thick. However Gionee Elife S5.1 still hold World’s Slimmest phone record by Guinness World Record as Oppo had not applied for the record.
Gionee Marathon M3 comes with whooping 5,000 mAh battery which provides 51 hours of talktime.
Gionee Elife S5.1
Gionee Elife S5.1 sports full metal and glass body. But its specifications are inferior compared to Gionee Elife S5.5.
Gionee Elife S5.1 features 4.8 inch HD Super AMOLED display with 306ppi. The screen has 1280×720 pixel resolution and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It runs on 1.7 GHz TRU octa-core processor with 1 GB of RAM. For Graphics it has ARM Mali450-MP4 cloaked at 700MHz.
Gionee Elife S5.1 sports 8 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfie purpose it has 5 Megapixel front camera. Gionee Elife S5.1 has 16 GB internal memory which cannot be expanded.
Gionee Elife S5.1 connectivity options include 2G, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, Micro USB 2.0 and USB OTG. It has 2,050mAh battery which gives 10 hours of talktime and 4 days of standby time.
Gionee Elife S5.1 runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat with a layer Amigo 2.0 UI. Gionee S5.1 dimensions are 139.8 x 67.5 x 5.15 mm and weighs 97.55gm

Gionee Marathon M3 features a 5 inch HD Display with 1280×720 pixel resolution. It runs on 1.3 GHz Quad core Cortex A7 Processor with 1 GB RAM. For graphics it has Mali 450 MP GPU.
Gionee Marathon M3 comes with 8 Megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED Flash. It also has 2 Megapixel front camera. It has 8 GB internal memory which can be expanded upto 32 GB using MicroSD Card.
Gionee Marathon M3 has connectivity options like 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. It has 5,000 mAh battery which gives whooping 32 hours talktime on 3G and 51 hours talktime on 2G network. It gives 3.8 days of standby time.
Gionee Marathon M3 runs on Android 4.4 kitkat. It is a dual sim (GSM+GSM) device.
