Gionee is all set to bring a new smartphone in its slim series of smartphones called Gionee Elife S8. The smartphone is expected to be announced this month during MWC.
Gionee has confirmed that it will launch Gionee S8 on 22nd February during MWC. The smartphone has now appeared on benchmark website. The test results reveals key specifications of the upcoming smartphone.
As per the GFXbench listing, the Gionee Elife S8 GN9011 comes with 4.6 inch Full HD screen. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Octa Core Helio P10 Processor. It will come with 4GB of RAM.
On the camera front, it will come with 15 Megapixel rear camera and 7 Megapixel front camera. It will come with 64GB of internal storage, however there is no word about expandable storage.
Gionee Elife S8 GN9011 will come with a fingerprint sensor on its back side. As per the listing, the smartphone will run on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a layer of company’s UI.
Gionee in a post has said that Gionee Elife S8 will come with features like hassle-free photo-shooting features and a pressure-sensitive display. The smartphone will be announced on 22nd Feb. It is expected to be launched in India in March.
