Gionee is all set to launch, Gionee Marathon M5, its new smartphone under Marathon series in India. The smartphone with huge battery will be launched in India on 24 November. It comes with Dual battery setup.
Last month, the company launched its flagship smartphone, Gionee Elfie E8 on online retailer Snapdeal. With Gionee M5 also, the company is adopting online exclusive model. The M5 will be available in India via Flipkart.
Flipkart has started teasing the launch on Gionee M5 on its mobile app. It confirms that the device with 6,020mAh battery will be exclusuively sold on online eCommerce website Flipkart.
Gionee Marathon M5 sports a 5.5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) AMOLED Display. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.3 GHz Quad Core MediaTek MT6735 Processor with 2 GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Mali GPU.
It comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 16 GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 6,020mAh battery. The company claims that the battery can last upto 62 hours with just 5% battery. The battery is enough to survive upto 4 days.
Gionee Marathon M5 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with a layer of Amigo 3.0 UI.
