Back in June, Gionee announced the Gionee Marathon M5 in China. Now the company is planning to launch the device in India. The Gionee M5 will be launched in India on 24 November. It will be priced around Rs. 20,000 in India.
Gionee Marathon M5 comes with 6,020mAh battery. It has dual battery setup, each battery is of 3,010mAh. Earlier we have reported the device has been imported, now it will be launched in India next week.
Gionee Marathon M5 sports a 5.5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) AMOLED Display. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.3 GHz Quad Core MediaTek MT6735 Processor with 2 GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Mali GPU.
It comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 16 GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 6,020mAh battery. The company claims that the battery can last upto 62 hours with just 5% battery. The battery is enough to survive upto 4 days.
Gionee Marathon M5 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with a layer of Amigo 3.0 UI.
