Along with Gionee E8, the company has also launched Gionee Marathon M5. The smartphone comes with dual battery setup which brings the total battery capacity to 6,020mAh.
Gionee Marathon M5 is huge upgrade compared to Marathon M3. It comes with mammoth 6,000mAh battery and 5.5 inch screen. It is launched in China for 2299 Yuan (Rs. 23,625).
Gionee Marathon M5 sports a 5.5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) AMOLED Display. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.3 GHz Quad Core MediaTek MT6735 Processor with 2 GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Mali GPU.
It comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 16 GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 6,020mAh battery. The company claims that the battery can last upto 62 hours with just 5% battery. The battery is enough to survive upto 4 days.
Gionee Marathon M5 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with a layer of Amigo 3.0 UI.
