Gionee is holding a event in China on 29 March, the company has already confirmed that its clamshell Gionee W909 dual screen smartphone will be unveiled at the event.
Gionee will now also launch its flagship smartphone, Gionee S8. The S8 was announced last month during MWC and it will be officially launched in China on 29 March.
Gionee S8 is also expected to be launched in India next month. The phone comes with Dual whatsapp account support and fastest fingerprint scanner.
Gionee S8 features a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 × 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED 3D Touch Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.9 GHz Octa core MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 Processor with 4GB of RAM. For Graphics, it comes with a Mali T-860 GPU.
Gionee S8 comes with a 16 Megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED Flash and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF). For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 64GB of on-board which can be expanded upto 128GB using MicroSD Card.
Gionee S8 and W909 will be launched in China on 29 March. Its price will be revealed during the launch event.
