Last month during CES, HTC has launched HTC Desire 826. HTC didn’t revealed any information about its availability and its pricing details. Now It looks like the device will be launched in India soon.
HTC has started importing dummy units of HTC Desire 826 in India. HTC has imported 2,450 dummy units of HTC Desire 826 Dual Sim in India. HTC will launch the dual sim variant of 626 in India.
As you can see in the import records above, HTC has import several dummy units of Desire 826 DS on 13 Feb. Dummy units of smartphones are imported when the device launch nears.
Desire 626 is also listed on HTC official website as “Coming Soon”, which further confirms that the launch is imminent in India. It will be launched in India for around Rs. 25,999. It expected to be launched in India soon.
Lets have a quick recap of the specifications, HTC Desire 826 sports a 5.5 inch Full HD (1080×1920 pixels) Display. It is powered by a 64 bit Octa core (1.7 GHz quad Core + 1.0 GHz quad Core) Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Processor with 2 GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Adreno 405 GPU.
It comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with 4 ultrapixel front camera. It comes with 16GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,600mAh battery. It comes in single and dual sim variants. HTC Desire 826 runs on latest Android 5.0.1 Lollipop with a layer of HTC Sense UI.
HTC Desire 826 dual sim might be launched in India soon and it might be priced around Rs. 25,000.
Update: HTC has imported more units of HTC Desire 826. HTC may launch the Desire 826 in India in coming weeks.
