After several rumors and leaks, HTC, as expected unveiled the HTC Desire 10 Pro and HTC Desire Lifestyle in India. Both the new HTC devices share some similar specifications and are placed in the mid-range segment.

As the name itself suggests, the Desire 10 Pro is the upper mid-range smartphone from the company and comes with some handy features. In terms of specifications, the Desire 10 Pro features a 5.5-inch FHD IPS LCD display and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 technology. The phone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 processor, which is an octa-core processor with all Cortex A-53 chips and a powerful Mali-T860 GPU.

The device will be available in two variants, one with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage and the other one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. But, only the 64GB variant will be available in India, as per HTC India’s official website. Moreover, the storage can be expanded on the smartphone via a microSD card slot. Camera wise, the smartphone comes with a 20MP rear-facing camera with laser autofocus, f/2.2 aperture and it capable of shooting 1080p videos. Furthermore, there is a 13MP front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and 1080p video recording support.

Other hardware features include a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor within reach of your index finger. The HTC Desire 10 Pro dual sim comes with a 3,000mAh battery along with some power saving features with the Sense UI to last a bit longer and the smartphone boots Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow with Sense UI on top of it.

Speaking about the HTC Desire 10 Lifestyle, it is a lower mid-range smartphone with a 5.5-inch 720p display and also protected by the same Corning Gorilla Glass Technology. A smaller 13MP rear camera sensor can be found on the smartphone with a 5MP front-facing camera and both of them can able to record 1080p videos.

The smartphone is powered by a less powerful quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. That said, this smartphone also can expand storage up to 128GB via microSD card slot, which is a welcome addition.

This dual SIM smartphone boots Android Marshmallow out-of-the-box and packs a 2,700mAh battery capacity with the same battery saving modes HTC offers on Sense UI. Both the smartphones will be available in four different colors, Valentine Lux,Polar White, Navy Blue, and Stone Black.

HTC hasn’t revealed the pricing of HTC Desire 10 Pro, but the smaller Desire 10 Lifestyle comes with a price tag of £249 (approximately Rs. 22,000). The bigger Desire 10 Pro will be available in next month and the smaller Desire Lifestyle will be on sale by the end of this month.
