After taking a dig at Apple in their teaser of Le Pro 3, the Chinese company today launched the much-anticipated Le Pro 3 in China. And, as expected the leaked specifications were true to some extent, but there is only one variant of the smartphone, which is not in-line with the expected two variants.
The Le Pro 3 will be the second smartphone after the Asus Zenfone 3 Deluxe to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset which is the updated version of Snapdragon 820 announced at MWC 2016. There are some other notable features as well. Let’s check out the specifications of the smartphone in brief.
Frontal, there is a 5.5-inch curved 2.5D glass display with a resolution of 1080*1920 resolution. As said earlier, the smartphone will feature a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset clocked at 2.35GHz. And, the handset will be available in two variants with 4GB/32GB storage and 6GB/64GB storage. The graphics on the smartphone is handled by Adreno 530 GPU.
In the camera department, the device sports a 16MP rear camera with PDAF and OIS technologies along with a big f/1.0 aperture. Notably, the rear camera can also record videos of 4K, which is a decent addition. Furthermore, there is an 8MP front facing camera to cover up selfies and video calls and it is capable of recording 1080p videos.

As expected by seeing the teaser of the smartphone, the Le Pro 3 arrived with a big battery, which is double when compared to the iPhone 7. The Le Pro 3 features a 4,070mAh battery, which is non-removable. Added to the advantage is the Qualcomm’s QuickCharge 3.0 support, thanks to OnePlus as other manufacturers are trying to compete their Dash charge technology.
This dual SIM smartphone runs Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 out-of-the-box and on top of it, there is company’s EUI, which is heavily skinned and lacks an app drawer. Pricing for this device is also announced at the event. The smartphone costs RMB 1,799 (approx. Rs. 18,000) for the 4GB/32GB variant and RMB 1,999 (approx. Rs.21,000) for the 6GB/64GB variant.
