Huawei has released Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Huawei Honor 7 in India. The update is released via Over-The-Air(OTA) update. The new software update brings several new features to the device.
The Android 6.0 Marshmallow update is not released directly to all Huawei Honor 7 devices. Instead users will have to register to get the new software update. The device was launched in India in October for Rs. 22,999.
Honor 7 users will have enter details like current software version, IMEI number, Email address and Contact number on this form. After submitting the details, the registered device will get the Android 6 update.
It might take 48 hours to get the Android 6 Marshmallow update on Huawei Honor 7 in India. The update brings features like App permissions, Doze mode and other improvements.
