Leeco has started selling its latest flagship smartphone, LeEco Le Max Pro. The smartphone was made available in China today. The device was sold in China for 1999 Yuan (Rs. 21,000). It became the first device with Snapdragon 820 SoC to go on sale.
LeTV has sold only 1000 units of Le Max Pro in China. The device sold was not commercial units instead they were engineered units. The retail launch price will be more than the current price.
LeEco Le Max Pro sports a 6.33 inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) OGS Display which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 64 bit 2.2 GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor with 4GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 530 GPU.
Le Max Pro comes with a 21 Megapixel Sony Exmor RS IMX230 rear camera with dual tone LED flash and Optical Image Stabilization. For selfies, it comes with a 4 Megapixel OmniVision OV4688 sensor front camera. It comes with 64GB in-built storage, which can be further expanded upto 128GB.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,400 mAh battery which comes with Quick Charge 2.0. It comes with fingerprint sensor on its back side which is powered by Qualcomm Sense ID.
LeEco Le Max Pro runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based on EUI. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
