Oppo has launched a limited edition Gilded version of its slimmest smartphone, Oppo R5. It is launched in India for Rs. 29,990 and it will be available in India from 20 February.
OPPO R5 Gilded Limited Edition comes with a luxurious golden frame. There will be only 10,000 units available worldwide and it will be available through pre-booking.
The normal version was launched in India in December last year for Rs. 29,990. The Gilded version specs are similar to normal version. Oppo R5 is just 4.85mm thick which makes it second slimmest smartphone in the world.
Oppo R5 Gilded Limited Edition sports a 5.2 inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) LTPS Display at 423ppi. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Octa core Qualcomm SnapDragon 615 with 2GB of RAM.
For graphics Oppo R5 comes with a Adreno 330 GPU. It comes with 16 GB on-board storage which can be further expanded upto 128 GB via MicroSD Card.
It comes with a 13 megapixel Sony Exmor IMX214 BSI sensor rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it features a 5 megapixel f/2.0 front camera.
Its connectivity options include LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, NFC, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. It doesn’t come with 3.5mm Audio Jack. Instead it comes with USB earphones. It packs a 2,000 mAh battery.
Oppo R5 runs on ColorOS 2.0 which is based on Android 4.4 kitkat.
