Micromax has launched a new device in Canvas series called as Micromax Canvas Hue AQ5000. It is launched in India for Rs. 10,999. It runs on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat and will be upgraded to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Micromax Canvas Hue AQ5000 features a 5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display with a pixel density of 293 ppi and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad core MediaTek MT6582 Processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM.
Micromax Canvas Hue AQ5000 features a 8 megapixel rear camera with AutoFocus and LED Flash. It also comes with a 2 megapixel front camera. It comes with 8 GB on-board storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD Card.
Micromax Canvas Hue AQ5000 connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,000 mAh battery which gives 9.5 hours of talktime and 280 hours of standby time. Canvas Hue comes with super power saving mode which provides one month of battery backup.
Micromax Canvas Hue AQ5000 runs on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat out of the box. Micromax has promised Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the device. It is a dual sim (GSM+WCDMA) device with dual standby support.
