Micromax subsidiary company YU Televentures today sold their first smartphone, YU Yureka in India through Amazon. Around 10,000 units of Yu Yureka were up for sale on Amazon.in and Yu has revealed that the whole lot went out of stock in just three seconds.
YU has followed Xiaomi’s path by selling the devices through flash sales. Xiaomi has been successful with the flash sale model, they have started the tradition of selling the devices in seconds.
Now, Micromax YU has also managed to sell off its first batch of smartphone in seconds. YU will host its second flash sale for YU Yureka on 22 January 2015, registrations for which will be started on Amazon.in soon.

YU Yureka sports a 5.5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display with a pixel density of 267 ppi and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64 bit octa core (1.5GHz quad core + 1GHz quad Core) Snapdragon 615 processor paired with 2 GB of RAM and Adreno 405 GPU.
YU Yureka features a 12 megapixel Sony Exmor R Sensor rear camera with LED Flash and a 5 megapixel front camera. It comes with 16 GB of in-built storage which can be further expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD Card.
