Xiaomi RedMi 1S

After launching RedMi Note in India, Xiaomi had stopped selling RedMi 1S in India. Now a week after stopped selling it, Xiaomi will again sell RedMi 1s in India on 8 December.

Xiaomi will again sell RedMi 1S on Monday in India without registrations, there will be limited stock up for grabs, Xiaomi has not revealed how much units of RedMi 1S will be up for sale.

Before discontinuing RedMi 1S from India, it used to go out of stock in 6 minutes which shows its not as popular as it used to be. Back in October also, Xiaomi had sold RedMi 1s without registrations and that time it took more than six hours to go out of stock.

Xiaomi RedMi 1S sports a 4.7 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display at 312ppi. It is powered by a 1.6 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Processor with 1GB RAM. For graphics it has a Adreno 305 GPU.

Xiaomi RedMi 1S comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It also has a 1.3 megapixel front camera. It comes with 4 GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 64GB using MicroSD card.

Xiaomi RedMi 1S connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,000 mAh Battery. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.

Xiaomi RedMi 1S runs on Android 4.3 optimized with MIUI version 5.
