Microsoft had launched the Lumia 640 and Lumia 640XL last month, Now Microsoft is all set to launch both the mid range devices in India on 7 April.
Microsoft has started sending out the media invites for the launch event. Microsoft has already started importing both the devices in India. Lumia 640 and Lumia 640XL price will be revealed at the launch event. The devices will go on sale in India soon after its launched.
Microsoft Lumia 640 RM-1077 might be priced around Rs. 9,500 and Lumia 640XL will be priced around Rs. 13,500 in India.
Microsoft Lumia 640:
Microsoft Lumia 640 sports a 5 inch HD(1280×720 pixels) IPS LCD Display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Processor with 1 GB of RAM.
It comes with a 8.7 megapixel rear camera without flash. It also comes with a 0.9 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 8 GB on-board storage which can be further expanded upto 128 GB using MicroSD Card. Microsoft is also giving free OneDrive storage upto 30 GB.
Its connectivity options include LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,500 mAh battery which provides 12 hours of talktime.
Microsoft Lumia 640 runs on Windows Phone 8.1. It will be upgraded to Windows 10 for mobiles.
Microsoft Lumia 640XL:
Microsoft Lumia 640 XL Dual sports a 5.7 inch HD(1280×720 pixels) IPS LCD ClearBlack Display which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Processor with 1 GB of RAM. For Graphics, it comes with a Adreno 305 GPU.
It comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera without flash. For selfies, It comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 8 GB on-board storage which can be further expanded upto 128 GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, NFC, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,000 mAh battery.
It runs on Windows Phone 8.1. It will be upgraded to Windows 10 for mobiles.
