Motorola is all set to launch successor to its mid-range smartphone, Moto G. The upcoming Motorola Moto G(third generation) will be launched on 28 July. The company has already sending out the media invites for the launch event.
Last week we have reported that the Moto G3 will come with 2GB RAM. But we have now learned that the smartphone will indeed come in two variants.
The key difference between Moto G (2015) will be ROM and RAM. Both the storage will be doubled in the high end variant. It will come in 1GB and 2GB RAM variants.
The cheaper Moto G(third gen) will come with 8GB internal storage and 1GB RAM while the more powerful variant will come with 16GB internal storage and 2GB RAM.
Motorola has already started importing the retail units of the variants in India. The Moto G3 will go on sale in India soon after it is launched. The company has started importing thousands of units in India ahead of its official launch.
The import price of Moto G(3rd Gen) is Rs. 9,582($150) and Rs. 10,359 ($162). The MRP of the Motorola Moto G will be around Rs. 12,999 and Rs. 13,999.
Motorola Moto G (2015) will feature a 5 inch HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS screen. It is powered by a 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 610 processor with 1GB and 2GB RAM. For Graphics it has a Adreno 306 GPU.
It comes with a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED Flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 megapixel front camera. It comes in 8GB and 16 GB inbuilt storage optoins which can be expanded using MicroSD card. It packs a 2,470mAh battery.
Moto G 3rd Gen XT1550 will run on latest Android 5.0 Lollipop. It will be launched in India on 28 July.
