Last Month, Motorola has released the Second Gen Moto E. Later its pricing for India was revealed but its launch date was unknown. Now Motorola has confirmed the launch date of Moto E(2nd Gen) for India.
Motorola has started sending invites for an event on 10 March, where it will launch the budget smartphone in India for Rs. 6,999. Ahead of official announcement, Motorola has started importing Motorola Moto E 2nd generation XT1506 in India. It confirms that the Moto E(2nd Generation) will go on sale in India from 11 March.
Motorola Moto E XT1506 sports a 4.5 inch qHD (960×540 pixels) IPS Display. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.2 GHz Quad Core Snapdragon 410 Processor with 1 GB of RAM. For Graphics it comes with a Adreno 306 GPU.
The 3G variant is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad Core Snapdragon 200 Processor paired with a Adreno 302 GPU. Rest all the specifications of both the variants remains same.
The smartphone comes with a 5 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with a 0.3 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 8 GB on-board storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, NFC, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,390mAh battery which provides 24 hours of mixed usage time.
The device runs on latest Android 5.0 Lollipop. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.

Along with Moto E (2015), Motorola might also launch the Moto Maxx to be called as Moto Turbo next week. Flipkart has been teasing the device since last month. Its pricing is also unknown.
