OnePlus 3

Chinese smartphone vendor, OnePlus is all set to launch another smartphone on November 15. The company tweeted about this launch event on their official Twitter handle. Having said that, the smartphone will be the successor to this year’s popular OnePlus 3.

According to the multiple reports leaked online, the smartphone is slightly an upgrade to the OnePlus 3 and it will feature the Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 chipset  with all the four cores clocked at 2.35GHz. This news was also confirmed by the Qualcomm on their official Twitter handle as ‘Something Big is Coming from OnePlus’.

Coming to the other specifications of the smartphone, the OnePlus 3T is said to feature the same 5.5-inch display, however, this time, the company is expected to pack OLED panel due to the stock issues of AMOLED panels. In terms of memory, a new rumor surfaced online states that the OnePLus 3T will be the first smartphone to pack 8GB of RAM, but we suspect that it won’t happen.

The OnePlus 3T might feature the same camera department as the OnePlus 3, however, we might see a bigger battery on the upcoming smartphone. Benchmark reports revealed that it will be armed with a 3,300mAh battery, which is slightly bigger than the OnePlus 3’s 3000mAh battery.

According to several sources, the OnePlus 3T will boot Android 7.1 Nougat out-of-the-box and the company will roll out the official Android update to OnePlus 3 by the end of this month. In terms of pricing, the OnePlus 3T will be priced 80$ more than the OnePLus 3 to compete its rivals such as the Google Pixel and LG V20.
