Samsung has launched new smartphone in its Galaxy A series called Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016). The smartphone is announced in China for 3499 Yuan. It comes with bigger 5,000mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro is available in China. There is no word about its global availability. The metal clad smartphone has fingerprint scanner under its home button.
Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) features a 6 Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) Super AMOLED 2.5D Curved Glass display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 Processor coupled with 4GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with Adreno 510 GPU.
Galaxy A9 Pro comes with a 16 Megapixel Autofocus rear camera with dual LED Flash and OIS. For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera with a LED flash. It comes with 32GB on-board storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. It packs a 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging support. It comes with fingerprint sensor under its home button.
Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
