Last month Samsung launched the Galaxy Grand 2 in India, and now it is reportedly working on expanding the Grand range by launching the Galaxy Grand Neo. SammyHub has been tipped about the device and claims that it will feature a 5-inch display and quad-core processor.

From the specifications mentioned by SammyHub, the Galaxy Grand Neo could very well be the Galaxy Grand Lite, which leaked last month. According to the reports, the Galaxy Grand Lite too features a 5-inch WVGA display and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM.

Other features likely to be offered are 5-megapixel rear camera, VGA front camera, 8GB internal storage with microSD card slot, and a 2,100mAh battery. There will also be dual-SIM card slots and the device is likely to run on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean wrapped under TouchWiz UI. There’s no word though if the device will get the ‘Pleather’ back seen on the recently launched Galaxy Grand 2.

The device is likely to be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), though Samsung generally tends to unveil its lineup of devices a couple of weeks before the event. This means the fifth week of 2014 is when the device is more likely to be unveiled.
