Samsung has reduced the price of its low-cost Samsung Galaxy J1 smartphone. It was launched in India in January for Rs. 7,190. Now its price in India is reduced to Rs. 6,490. Its price has been reduced by Rs. 700.
Last month Samsung had launched new smartphones in Galaxy J series. Samsung Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 was announced in China last month. These new smartphones will be launched in India soon.
Samsung Galaxy J1 sports a 4.3 inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) TFT Display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core Spreadtrum processor with 512 MB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Mali 400 GPU.
It features a 5 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It also features a 2 megapixel front camera. It comes with 4 GB on-board storage which can be expanded upto 128GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, WLAN, GPS/AGPS, Micro USB, and Bluetooth. It packs a 1,850 mAh battery which gives 10 hours of talktime on 3G network.
Samsung Galaxy J1 SM-J100H runs on Android Kitkat 4.4.2. It is a dual sim smartphone with dual standby.
