As expected, Samsung has launched a new smartphone under Galaxy J series called Samsung Galaxy J6. The device comes in two storage variants. The base variant with 3GB RAM is launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 13,990. It has Super AMOLED Infinity Display and upto 4GB of RAM.
Samsung Galaxy J6 features a 5.6 inch HD+ (1480 x 720 pixels) 2.5D Super AMOLED Infinity 18.5:9 screen protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 1.6GHz Octa Core Exynos 7870 Processor coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with Mali T830 GPU.
Galaxy J6 comes with a 13 Megapixel Autofocus rear camera with LED Flash and OIS. For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera with LED flash. It comes in 32GB/64GB on-board storage options, which can be further expanded up to 256GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,000 mAh battery. It comes with fingerprint sensor on its back side.
Samsung Galaxy J6 runs on Android 8 Oreo. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
