Samsung had launched mini variant of flagship model Galaxy S5 called Galaxy S5 mini back in July. Now, the company is planning to launch the device in India. The smartphone is listed on Samsung India website.
The Galaxy S5 mini duos is listed without price tag. The device come with fingerprint sensor, Heart rate sensor and dust and water resistance body with IP67 certification.
Samsung Galaxy S5 mini features a 4.5 HD Super AMOLED display with 720×1280 pixel resolution which has pixel density of 326ppi. It is protected by with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection. It runs on 1.4 GHz quad core processor with 1.5GB of RAM.
Galaxy S5 mini features 8 Megapixel Auto Focus rear camera. It also has 2.1 megapixel front camera. It has 16GB internal memory which can be expanded upto 64 GB using MicroSD card,
The Samsung Galaxy S5 mini is equipped with connectivity options like Advanced LTE and Wi-Fi MIMO (802.11ac), USB 3.0, Bluetooth, 3G, NFC , Infrared, Micro-USB, A-GPS, GLONASS, and IR Remote.
The device packs 2,100 mAH battery which is capable of 290 hours of standby time.
Samsung Galaxy S5 runs on Android Kitkat 4.4.2 with a layer of ToucWiz UI. It comes with private mode/ kids mode, Ultra Power Saving Mode features.
