Samsung has already launched its flagship device, Galaxy S5. It is widely rumored that Samsung will launch a premium version of Galaxy S5, dubbed as Galaxy S5 Prime. Many details about the device has been already leaked. But the actual screen size of device was not confirmed.
Now, the listing at import export data reveals the screen size of device. As per the import data, the Galaxy S5 Prime which has model number SM-G906 will have same 5.1 inch screen used in Galaxy S5. There were rumors that Galaxy S5 Prime will feature bigger screen but it looks like that it will have 5.1 inch screen only.
Samsung has imported one unit of SM-G906 for testing purpose. The price of imported device is Rs. 21,245 ($360). The unit is imported from South Korea to New Delhi. The actual price will be much more than that.
Galaxy S5 Prime will come with metallic body instead of plastic body. The metallic body will give premium feel to the device.
Other rumored specs include 5.1 inch QHD display, 2.5 GHz Qualcomm snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB RAM, 16 Megapixel rear camera and 2 Megapixel front camera, MicroSD card. It will have LTE Advanced support. It will run on Android 4.4.3.
There is o word about the availability and launch date of device. It is also rumored that Galaxy s5 prime will be initially launched in Korea only. Let’s wait for the official announcement form Samsung and see what Samsung unveils.
