Samsung has launched bigger version of its flagship smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ in India. The smartphone is launched in India at Rs. 57,900. It comes with bigger 5.7 inch Quad HD screen compared to 5.1 inch QHD screen found on the normal variant.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ can be pre-ordered in India. It will start shipping from 28th August in India. It has 4GB RAM and bigger 3,000mAh battery compared to Galaxy S6 Edge.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ flaunts a 5.7 inch Quad HD (1440×2560 pixels) Super AMOLED Display at 518 ppi. It comes with dual edged screen on both sides. It is powered by a 64-bit Exynos 7420 Octa-core (2.1 GHz Quad-core + 1.5 GHz Quad-core) Processor with 4GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Mali-T760 GPU.
Galaxy S6 Edge Plus comes with a 16 Megapixel F1.9 rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with 5 Megapixel f1.9 front camera. It comes in 32GB and 64 GB on-board storage options. It doesn’t come with an option to expand its storage.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2600 mAh battery with Ultra Power Saving mode and fast charging support.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ runs on latest Android 5.0.1 Lollipop with a layer of TouchWiz UI.
