Last month Samsung announced its flagship smartphones, Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge. The smartphones were announced during MWC in Spain. The phone comes with expandable storage.
Now the company is bringing its latest flagship smartphones into India. Samsung will launch the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge in India on 8 March. Media Invites for launch event has been distributed. The company might launch the smartphone with Exynos SoC in India.
Samsung Galaxy S7 comes in both Snapdragon 820 and Exynos Processor. The company will bring the home-grown Exynos variant in India. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 55,000.
Samsung Galaxy S7 flaunts a 5.1 inch Quad HD (1440×2560 pixels) Super AMOLED Display at 577ppi. Its screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It is powered by a 64-bit Exynos 8890 Octa-core (2.3GHz Quad-core + 1.6 GHz Quad-core) Processor with Mali-T880MP8 GPU. Another variant is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor with Adreno 530 GPU. Both models have 4GB RAM.
Galaxy S7 comes with a 12 Megapixel F1.7 rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with 5 Megapixel f1.7 front camera. It comes in 32GB/64GB internal storage options, which can be expanded upto 200GB.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,000 mAh battery which comes with fast charging support and wireless charging support. It has fingerprint sensor under its Home button.
Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge launch date in India is 8th March. Its price in India will be around Rs. 55,000.
