Back in October Sony announced that it will release the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to series of devices including Sony Xperia C4. The company said that these devices will be directly updated to Marshmallow by skipping to Android 5.1 Lollipop.
Now Sony has released unexpected Android 5.1 Lollipop update to Sony Xperia C4. The company has not revealed the complete changelog of the update.
Android 5.1 Lollipop update is available for both Sony Xperia C4 and Xperia C4 Dual. The software update for C4 carries build number 27.2.A.0.155 and C4 Dual update carries 27.2.B.0.155 build number.
The software update is being rolling out via OTA update. The update brings several improvements, performance and stability improvement. The update will be rolled gradually to all devices.
Last year Sony had launched the Xperia C4 Dual in India for Rs. 29,490. The devices will get the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update soon. Till then you can update your smartphone to Android 5.1.
