Google launched the LG Nexus 5X in India in October. The smartphone packs some great set of specifications and it runs on stock Android. The benefit of having a Nexus device is running latest OS.
Whenever Google releases any software update, Nexus devices are the first to get the latest update. The LG Nexus 5X runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.
The smartphone was launched in India for Rs. 31,990. A month after launch it was available for Rs. 24,500. Later it received a official price and it was available for Rs. 23,990.
Currently the Nexus 5X is available for Rs. 19,990 on Amazon and other online retail stores. At this price, the smartphone offers great fingerprint sensor, awesome camera and great display.
We are using the LG Nexus 5X for some time now and now bringing you the first impressions of the Indian retail unit purchased from Amazon. We will be posting detailed review soon. Let’s check out the first impressions and Hand-On of the device.
LG Nexus 5X sports a 5.2 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS Display which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. On the front side you will find two speaker grills, front camera and ambient sensor. It comes with plastic back but it doesn’t feel cheap. On the back side, you will find a protruded 12.3 Megapixel camera with Laser AutoFocus and Dual LED flash. Below the camera, there is a fingerprint sensor and big nexus brand logo.
Nexus 5X is powered by a 64-bit 1.8 GHz Hexa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 Processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. For graphics it comes with a Adreno 418 GPU. The smartphone handles multi-tasking efficiently but sometimes you will feel that it should have more RAM. The phone can handle heavy games easily and there is no heating issue with the device. It comes in 16GB and 32GB in-built storage options but sadly there is no option to expand it. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
Google Nexus 5X comes with a 12.3 Megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. The rear camera is just awesome. The clarity and details captured by the camera is amazing. The phone takes some time to process the HDR image but the result is worth the wait. The front camera is also good. Nexus 5X packs a 2,700 mAh battery with fast charging support. It comes with USB Type-C, so your old micro USB cable will not be in use. You will also need to buy new cable to transfer the data as there is no data cable in the box.
At the current price of Rs. 19,990, Nexus 5x has too much to offer. We will cover every aspect in detail in our full review.
