After rolling out the Voice calling feature, Whatsapp is all set to launch Video calling feature on its Instant Messaging app. Purported images of the upcoming feature has been leaked.
WhatsApp is testing the new feature on its iOS client. The images were leaked by German website. Video calling feature will be free for WhatsApp users.
The new feature is under beta testing and it might time to reach the public version. WhatsApp might also roll out the new service was invite basis, like it did for Voice calling feature.
As you can see in the image above, majority of video call is dominated by another users video. There is a small box in middle which shows your video. The other buttons includes end call, mute and change camera.
Earlier this year we Exclusively reported that WhatsApp is working on Call via Skype feature. The new feature is in line with our previous report. The company might also add this feature.
WhatsApp is also working on UI Changes and other new features. The company will also bring tabbed UI to the instant messaging app. The new feature will not be released anytime soon. We expected the official launch around mid 2016.
