Xiaomi has announced that it will sell 150,000 units of RedMi 1s in India on Flipkart on 6 October. Flipkart is hosting its BigBillionDay sale tomorrow and Xiaomi will be taking part in BigBillionDay sale with one lakh fifty thousand RedMi 1S units.
Xiaomi has also announced that there will be no pre-registration for the sale, means anyone can buy RedMi 1S tomorrow. Yesterday Xiaomi has also announced that it will sell Xiaomi Mi3 in India for one last time on 6 October. Xiaomi will sell 25,000 units of Mi3 to those who repeatably tried and failed to buy it. The Flipkart BigBillionDay sale kicks off tomorrow at 08:00 AM.

Xiaomi RedMi 1S features a 4.7 inch HD IPS Display with 1280×720 pixel resolution which has pixel density of 312ppi. It runs on 1.6 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 Processor with 1GB RAM. For graphics it has Adreno 305 GPU.
Xiaomi RedMi 1S comes with 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. It also has 1.3 megapixel front camera. It has 4 GB internal memory which can be expanded upto 64GB using MicroSD card.
Xiaomi RedMi 1S has connectivity options like 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG and Micro-USB. It has 2,000 mAh Battery. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
Xiaomi RedMi 1S runs on Android 4.3 optimized with MIUI version 5.
Xiaomi RedMi 1S will go on sale in India on Flipkart tomorrow at 8 AM, there will be no need to register for the sale. The RedMi 1S is priced at Rs. 5,999 in India.
