Xiaomi, Chinese manufacturer has announced that it will sell Xiaomi Mi3 in India on October 6th. It will be last Mi3 sale in India. After five flash sales of Xiaomi Mi3, Xiaomi had discontinued it in India. Last month it was reported that company will again start selling Mi3 in India in October.
Now company is planning to sell Xiaomi Mi3 in India for one last time. But this time Xiaomi has adopted a different pattern to sell Xiaomi Mi3 in India. Xiaomi is planning to sell Mi3 to its loyal customers only.
This time company is not taking pre-orders, instead company will sale the Mi3 to the older customers only. Customers who had earlier per-registered but was never successful in buying the device, will be eligible for last sale. Xiaomi will automatically add Xiaomi Mi3 in customers cart on 6th October.
Xiaomi has announced the news through its facebook page. It looks like company really cares for thier loyal fans and want to treat them special with this special sale.
Xiaomi Mi3 features a 5 inch Full HD IPS Display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution which has pixel density of 441ppi. It runs on 2.3 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 8274AB Processor with 2GB RAM. For graphics it has Adreno 330 GPU cloaked at 600MHz.
Xiaomi Mi3 comes with 13 megapixel rear camera with dual LED flash. It also has 2 megapixel front camera. It has 16 GB internal memory which cannot be expanded.
Xiaomi Mi3 has connectivity options like 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, NFC, Wi-Fi Direct WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG and Micro-USB. It has 3,050 mAh Battery.
Xiaomi Mi3 runs on Android 4.4.2 optimized with MIUI version 5.
Xiaomi has not announced how many units will be up for sale. For each sale, as many as 200,000 people had registered but Xiaomi had managed to sell only 95,000 units in five sale. So it will be interesting to see how many units Xiaomi will sell. Xiaomi Mi3 comes at Rs. 13,999 in India and will go on sale in India on 6 October.
