Earlier this month, Yu Televentures launched its second smartphone in India called as Yu Yuphoria. The smartphone was launched in India for Rs. 6,999 on Amazon India.
Yu Yuphoria will be sold via flash sales in India. The first flash sale of the Yuphoria will take place in India tomorrow. The company has revealed that they have received over 5 lakhs registrations for the first flash sale.
Yu didn’t revealed how many units of Yu Yuphoria will be put for sale in tomorrow’s flash sale. Looking at the response, it is expected that the company will put more than 20,000 units for sale in first flash sale.

Yu Yuphoria sports a 5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Processor with 2GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Adreno 306 GPU.
It comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 megapixel wide-angle front camera. It comes with 16GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,230 mAh Battery which offers 7 hours of talktime and 160 hours of standby time on 3G network.
Yu Yuphoria runs on Cyanogen OS 12 which is based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
