YU Yureka Note YU6000 reportedly available in India for Rs. 14,999

YU Televentures hasn’t launched any smartphone in India this year. Last year, the company aggressively launched its smartphones in India. But after its flagship smartphone, YU Yutopia, the company seems to be inactive.

Earlier a new smartphone with codenamed YU6000 appeared in the benchmark results. The smartphone also made its entry into import listing. Last month the company imported around 20,000 units of YU6000 in India.

But even a month after importing so many units. YU didn’t launched the smartphone in India. Now it looks like the company has started selling the smartphone via offline stores. Photos of the YU6000 box have now appeared online (via @AadeepSingh). The box looks genuine but we weren’t able to check the authenticity of the images.

The phone is reportedly called as YU Yureka Note. As you can see in the image, the box of the smartphone shows the name as Yureka Note and its model number is YU6000. Its price on the box is Rs. 14,999. Its specifications matches with the benchmark specs.

Yu Yureka Note YU6000 sports a 6 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.5GHz Octa core MediaTek MT6753 processor with 3GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Mali T-720 GPU.

Yureka Note comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with Dual-LED flash and PDAF. For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel wide-angle front camera. It comes with 16GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD card.

Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 4,000mAh with Quick Charging support.

Yu Yureka Note YU6000 runs on Stock Android 5.1 Lollipop. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
