Yu Televentures launched the Yu Yutopia YU5050 in India this month. The smartphone is launched with a price tag of Rs. 24,999. It will go on sale in India from Saturday. It comes with new AroundYU service.
Yu Yutopia will be exclusively sold via online retailer with a price tag of Rs. 24,999. The Micromax subsidiary company has already started taking pre-order for the device, now it will ship in India from 26th December.
Yu Yutopia YU5050 sports a 5.2 inch Quad HD (2560×1440 pixels) OGS Display which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 64 bit 2GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Processor with 4GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with a Adreno 430 GPU.
YUTOPIA comes with a 21 Megapixel Sony Exmor RS IMX230 rear camera with dual tone LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 32GB in-built storage, which can be further expanded upto 200GB.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,000 mAh battery which comes with Quick Charge 2.0. There is a fingerprint sensor on its back side.
Yu Yutopia runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop based on CyanogenMod 12. It will be upgraded Android 6.0 Marshmallow based on CM13 soon.
