Yu YuphoriaYu conducted the first flash sale of Yu Yuphoria in India today. The company had received over 5 lakhs registrations for the first flash sale but Yu have put mere 20,000 units for sale in the first flash sale. The device went out of stock in seconds.

The company kept mum about the time it took to sell the 20k units to 500,000 registered users. Yu should have put more units for sale in the maiden flash sale as it saw great response from buyers.

The next flash sale of Yu Yuphoria will take place on 4th June on Amazon. The registrations for the second flash sale has been started. Yu Yuphoria was launched in India earlier this month for Rs. 6,999.

Yu Yuphoria sports a 5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 Processor with 2GB of RAM. For graphics it has a Adreno 306 GPU.

It comes with a 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 megapixel wide-angle front camera. It comes with 16GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD card.

Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,230 mAh Battery which offers 7 hours of talktime and 160 hours of standby time on 3G network.

Yu Yuphoria runs on Cyanogen OS 12 which is based on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
