Apple has just released updates to its iOS, apple pushed iOS 7.0.6 and iOS 6.1.6 to general public. The update fixes various security bugs. The update arrives just after a month iOS 7.0.5 was released which fixes bugs related to Chinese users. The update which carries build number 11B651 fixes SSL verification Issue.

Apple is currently beta testing iOS 7.1. Two weeks back iOS 7.1 beta 5 was seeded to developers which bring minor UI tweaks and Jailbreak exploits being patched. iOS 7.1 is expected to release during mid-march to general public.

The iOS 7.0.6 update didn’t patches any jailbreak exploit. Users can update their device and jailbreak again.

iOS 7.0.6 is compatible with iPhone 4 or later, iPad 3 or later and iPod Touch. iOS 6.1.6 is available for iPhone 3GS and iPad 2 and iPod Touch 4G. To update the device go to Settings > General > Update. Or else Goto iTunes and update from there.

The update patches severe SSL bug, so all users must update to iOS 7.0.6.
