Lava Mobiles, the homegrown smartphone brand has launched two new smartphones in India- the Lava Z25, a mid-range smartphone and the Lava Z10, an entry-level smartphone. The Lava Z25 is priced at Rs. 16,990, whereas the Lava Z10 retails for Rs. 9,990. Both the phones will be available for purchase from March 23 from some retail channels in New Delhi and later on, can be purchased from other online and offline channels as well.

The bigger phone of the two, the Lava Z25 features a 5.5-inch HD display with 2.5D glass layered on top. The phone is powered by the octa-core MediaTek MT6750 SoC clocked at 1.5GHz along with Mali-T20 GPU. The phone has 4GB of RAM and comes with 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.

In terms of camera, the Z25 has a 13MP sensor at the rear with support for LED flash and PDAF. Lava has added an 8MP sensor on the front of the phone for taking care of selfies. The phone comes loaded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow with promise for Android Nougat in coming weeks. The entire package is backed by a 3020mAh battery, and the phone is available in Champagne Gold and Grey color options.

Speaking about the Lava Z10, it flaunts a 5-inch HD display and is powered by the 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 chipset along with Mali-T20 GPU. The phone is packed with 2GB of RAM and has 16GB of internal storage, and the storage can be expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.

The phone comes with an 8MP sensor at the rear along with an 8MP sensor at the front. Both the cameras have support for LED flash. The Lava Z10 also boots Android Marshmallow based Star OS 3.3 and is backed with a 2650mAh battery. The phone is available in only Champagne Gold color option.
