As expected, Lenovo has announced first Google Project Tango smartphone called Lenovo PHAB 2 pro. The smartphone will be available from September in USA for $499. It is a phablet with 6.4 inch QHD 2K screen.
The new smartphone comes with four cameras, one 16 MP camera, another depth camera and a motion tracking camera. The fourth camera is on the front side. Lenovo PHAB 2 Pro comes with 3D mapping technology which is made in association with Google.
Lenovo PHAB 2 Pro sports a 6.4 inch Quad HD ( 2560 x 1440 pixels) IPS Display. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.8 GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 Processor with 4GB of RAM. For Graphics it has a Adreno 510 GPU.
Lenovo PHAB2 Pro comes with a 16 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with a 8 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 84GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 128GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G, LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It supports both FDD-LTE and TDD-LTE bands. It packs a 4,050 mAh Battery. It comes with fingerprint sensor on its back side.
Lenovo PHAB 2 Pro runs on Android 6 Marshmallow. It is a dual sim(LTE+LTE) device with dual standby support.
