Micromax has revealed that they have sold over 2 lakh units of its budget smartphone, Micromax Canvas Spark Q380. The smartphone was launched in India in April for Rs. 4,999.
Micromax Canvas Spark Q380 is exclusively available on Snapdeal via flash sale model. In the first flash sale the company sold around 20,000 units. In the second flash sale, 50,000 units were sold old in minutes.
After the second flash sale, Micromax stopped revealing the number units it is selling in flash sales. In two months after the launch, the company has managed to sell 2 lakh units.
Micromax Canvas Spark Q380 sports a 4.7 inch qHD (960×540 pixels) IPS Display which is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad Core MediaTek MT6582M Processor with 1 GB of RAM. For Graphics it comes with a Mali 400 GPU.
Its comes with a 8 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, It comes with a 2 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 8 GB on-board storage which can be expanded up to 32 GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 2,000mAh battery which offers 7 hours of talktime and 355 hours of standby time.
Canvas Spark runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
Micromax Canvas Spark Q380 price in India is Rs. 4,999. It will again go on sale on Snapdeal tomorrow.
