After several months of speculations and rumors, Samsung finally launched the Galaxy A9 Pro in India with some decent specifications on offer. The Galaxy A9 Pro will lead the Galaxy A series of smartphones, as of now.
Diving into the specifications, the smartphone comes with a 6-inch FHD display, which is normal for the Galaxy A series as we have seen all the Galaxy A smartphones coming with an FHD display. Under the hood, is an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset with support for Adreno 505 GPU along with 4GB of RAM.
Camera wise, this new smartphone comes with 16MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and support for Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS). Also, there is an 8MP front-facing camera with same f/1.9 aperture.
One of the major highlights of the smartphone is that it comes with a 5,000mAh battery and also supports the quick charge, which is a welcome addition. There are hefty of connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and comes with an aided GPS chip for location services. This dual SIM smartphone boots Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box and Samsung will upgrade the OS to Android Nougat.

To recall, Samsung launched the Galaxy A9 Pro in China six months ago with the same specifications. The smartphone will go on sale from September 26 from all retail chains over India and also from online stores for Rs. 32,490. The handset will be available in three color variants gold, black, and white.
