Samsung has launched a new smartphone under its M series in India. The company has launched Samsung Galaxy M42 5G in India. The device is launched with a starting price of Rs. 21,999. It is powered by Snapdragon 750G processor.
Samsung Galaxy M42 5G features a 6.6 inch HD+ (1560 x 720 pixels) Super AMOLED screen. It is powered by a 2.2GHz Octa Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G Processor coupled with 6GB/8GB of RAM. For graphics, it comes with Adreno 619 GPU.
Galaxy M42 5G comes with Quad camera setup, it has a 48 Megapixel ISOCELL GM2 sensor primary, 8 Megapixel Ultra-wide sensor, 5 Megapixel depth and 5 Megapixel Macro sensor rear camera with LED Flash. For selfies, it comes with a 20 Megapixel sensor front camera. It comes with 128GB on-board storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB using MicroSD Card.
Its connectivity options include 5G, 4G, VoLTE, 3G, HSPA+, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth and USB Type-C. It packs a 5,000 mAh battery. It have fingerprint sensor under its display.
Samsung Galaxy M42 5G runs on Android 11. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support.
