Along with Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Samsung has also a launched a new device in Note series called Samsung Galaxy Note Edge. The phone has curved display, it has two sided display.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has specs similar to Galaxy Note 4 but it features unique two sided screen. The curved screen on the right side is used to show notifications. By default it shows time and date. It can be also used to launch app from folders and apps icons.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge features a 5.6 Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display with 2560×1600 pixel resolution which has pixel density of 515 ppi. It is protected by with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 Protection. It runs on 2.7 GHz quad core Snapdragon 805 processor or octa core (1.9GHz quad-core+1.3GHz quad-core) Exynos 5433 processor depending on regions.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge comes in 16/32GB internal memory options which can be expanded upto 128 GB using MicroSD card,It comes with 3 GB of RAM. For graphics it has Adreno 420 GPU.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge features 16 Megapixel Auto Focus rear camera with optical image stabilization. It also has 3.7 megapixel front camera.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is equipped with connectivity options like Advanced LTE and Wi-Fi MIMO (802.11ac), USB, Bluetooth, 3G, NFC , Infrared, Micro-USB, A-GPS, GLONASS, and IR Remote. The device packs 3,000 mAH battery with fast charging mode.
Samsung Galaxy Note Edge runs on Android Kitkat 4.4.2 with a layer of ToucWiz UI. It comes with private mode/ kids mode, Ultra Power Saving Mode features. It also comes with improved S Pen which is main USP of Note series.
