Twitter is unexpectedly down on web and mobile apps

Many users around the globe are reporting that is down for maintenance. Twitter on website and mobile is down. As of writing twitter is down for more than 30 minutes. Twitter status page is also reporting the outage.

Twitter confirmed the outage on its status page:

Most users are experiencing issues accessing Twitter on web and mobile apps. We’re looking into it.

Update: Twitter is back again.
