Vivo is all set to launch Plus variant of its current V5 smartphone in India. The Chinese company will launch the Vivo V5 Plus in India on 23 January. It has already started sending out media invites for the launch event.

Vivo V5It will be an upgraded variant of V5. If reports are to be believed then Vivo V5 Plus will come with 20 MP Dual front selfie cameras. The current model comes with 20 Megapixel selfie camera.

But with the Vivo V5 Plus, the company is planning to take the selfies to the next level by introducing Dual camera setup on the front side for taking selfies.

Apart from 20MP Dual Front Selfie camera setup, we think that the smartphone will also come with some other specs update.

Vivo V5 Plus features a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) 2.5D curved Display protected with Corning Gorilla Glass. It is powered by a 64-bit 1.5GHz Octa Core MediaTek MT6750 Processor with 4GB of RAM. For graphics it comes with a Mali T860 GPU.

Vivo V5 Plus comes with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash and PDAF. For selfies, It comes with Dual 20 Megapixel front camera with Moonlight flash. It comes with 32GB internal storage, which can be expanded upto 128GB.

Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, GPRS/EDGE, 3G, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, NFC, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB. It packs a 3,000 mAh battery which comes with fast charging support. It comes with fingerprint scanner under its home button.

Vivo V5 Plus will be launched in India on 23 January 2017. It could be priced above Rs. 20,000.
