After launching Gionee P2M, the Chinese company has launched a new smartphone in Marathon series in India. Gionee Marathon M4 is launched in India for Rs. 14,999. It comes with huge 5,000 mAh battery and 4G LTE support.
It is successor to Marathon M3 to predecessor to Marathon M5. The latest Gionee M5 was announced in China last month. The company had directly launched the M5 without launching the Gionee M4.
Gionee has now launched the Gionee Marathon M4 in India. The smartphone is listed on company’s official India website. It comes with full matt metal body. The company might launch the Marathon M5 in India soon.
Gionee Marathon M4 sports a 5 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS Display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz Quad Core Mediatek MTK6582 processor with 2GB of RAM. For Graphics, it comes with a Mali 400 GPU.
It comes with a 8 Megapixel rear camera with LED flash. For selfies, it comes with a 5 Megapixel front camera. It comes with 16GB in-built storage which can be expanded upto 32GB using MicroSD card.
Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, Wi-Fi Direct, WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. It packs a 5,000 mAh Battery which offers 50 hours of talktime on 2G network and 18 hours on 3G network.
Gionee Marathon M4 runs on latest Android 5.0 Lollipop with a layer of Amigo 3.0 UI. It is a dual sim device with dual standby support. It comes pre-installed with apps like Saavn, Du Battery Saver, Gionee Xender, Twiter , Wechat , Whatsapp , Facebook, Yahoo cricket , Du Speed booster, Amigo Paper, Game Zone.
