In one of the teaser, YU took a dig at its rival Xiaomi, by teasing the device running on Android Lollipop. The teaser image reads, “Kitkat in the age of Lollipop? Give ME a break!“.
The YU Project Caesar teaser image uses Mi logo in the word “Give ME”, which is a clear dig at Xiaomi’s latest device which runs on dated version of Android. Both Xiaomi RedMi 2 and MiPad runs on Android Kitkat.
YU has launched its first smartphone, YU Yureka in December last year. It went on sale in India on Amazon from January for Rs. 8,999. It comes with 5.5 inch screen and 4G LTE support.
YU Project Caesar is also expected to come with high-end specifications at lower price tag. There are not much details about the upcoming smartphone. It might be launched in India soon.
