oppo JoyOppo has launched a new device in India. Oppo Joy is a mid range device which is priced at Rs. 8,990. Oppo Joy is a dual sim device and comes with 3G support.

Oppo Joy features a 4 WVGA Display with 800×480 pixel resolution. Its display comes with ‘Glove Mode’ through which you can use touchscreen with Gloves. It runs on 1.3GHz dual core MediaTek Processor with 512 MB RAM. For Graphics it has Mali 400 GPU.

Oppo Joy comes with 3 Megapixel rear camera with Flash and it also has VGA front camera. It has 4GB internal memory which can be expanded upto 32 GB using MicroSD Card.

Oppo Joy has connectivity options like 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. It has 1,700 mAh battery. It is a dual sim (GSM+GSM) device.

Oppo Joy runs on older Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, which cannot be upgraded to Android kitkat. Its dimensions are  124x63x9.9mm and weighs 125 grams.

Oppo Joy comes in Black and white color. It is priced at Rs. 8,990. At this price point it will compete with Nokia X. Motorola is planning to launch Moto E on 13 May which will also priced at this price point. But Moto E will have better specs compared to Oppo Joy. Both the devices will give tough competition to each other. Earlier Oppo has also launched Oppo R1 in India for Rs. 26,990.
